Janet Muller has been an A.C.E. certified fitness instructor, personal trainer and yoga professional at Rye Recreation Center for 23 years. During the 10 years, her passion has been focused on teaching and inspiring participants in developing a yoga practice. Janet’s yoga classes cast a joyful focus on both the physical and spiritual sides of yoga, combining strength, balance and flexibility. One of her goals is to provide an environment where individuals can enrich the quality of their life through safe and effective physical activity. It is essential for her to take the time to get to know members and what’s important to them.
Corey Esannason is a kid at heart—constantly moving and constantly curious. She discovered yoga in as a dance major at Skidmore College, and has been an avid practitioner ever since. Her practice led her to Om Yoga Center in where she completed her Teacher Training Program. Amazed by yoga’s unique and constant opportunity for mental and physical discovery, Corey believes that anyone can enjoy the benefits of yoga. In class, Corey uses her playful nature to create a safe and encouraging environment in which student can explore, challenge and discover. She is grateful to all of her teachers who have shared their knowledge and is continuously inspired by her students.

Personal trainer and local mom, started Boot Camp in January 2009, confident that there were other women like her looking for a fun outdoor program which would push them harder and get them better results than other programs around. She was right! Boot Camp has gone from strength to strength and was awarded the Best of Rye 2011 commendation after just two years in business.
